What do I know,
and how well do I know it?

I don't like inflating my levels. Every level below is based on how much work I have actually shipped with that language.

What do these levels mean?

Advanced
The main language of the products I have shipped. I can solve a complex problem without opening the docs.
Proficient
I can build projects on my own; I check the docs for advanced topics.
Intermediate
I can ship working code, but it isn't my day-to-day language; I look things up now and then.
Learning
Actively learning. I use it in real projects, but I haven't gone deep yet.

Java

Advanced

Android app development. My first apps published on the Play Store — the ones that generated revenue — were written in Java.

Python

Intermediate

The language I started programming with. I used it with Raspberry Pi and Arduino to read sensor data, handle hardware–software communication and build alert flows. In my R&D work, the training side of the models that run on-device is Python as well.

Learning

The interaction, DOM, form and animation layer in my web projects. It gets deeper with every project.

What's next

My goals for the period ahead

I wrote down where I stand exactly as it is; it felt right to write down where I want to go, too.

Advanced level in Flutter

I'm still learning it. My goal is to reach a level where I can ship to both platforms from a single codebase.

Going deeper in Python, Kotlin and JavaScript

I can ship with all three, but they aren't my day-to-day languages. I want to bring them up to the same level as Swift and Java.

English: B1 → C1

I read technical documentation comfortably. My goal is to reach C1, where I can speak fluently in an international team.

German: A2 → B1

I'm at elementary level. I aim to reach intermediate and be able to hold everyday conversations.
